employees of the Hanna Mining Co. in Guatemala. |

CBS invents the rubber
bumper for the shovel boom. Hundreds are sold over the next ten

CBS works to create a
cover compound that withstands oil and extremely low temperatures. Their
research helps Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. develop a standard cover

CBS fabricates a 290" x
60-ft belt for use in a space training simulator for the U.S. Air Force in
Huntsville, Alabama. |

CBS recovers 3000 ft.
of 60" wide belting in our Virginia, Mn plant for the Southern Peru Copper
Co., Peru and South America. |

CBS repairs 14,000 ft.
of ripped 48" wide steel cable belting for the Southern Ohio Coal Company
in 12 weeks. |

CBS fabricates endless
belts and installs sidewalk material for Flexowall Corp.in Mexico City,
Mexico. |

CBS starts extensive
work on The Great Lakes vessels by servicing the new self-unloading
systems developed by Stephens-Adamson. |

CBS develops a tool to
skive off top cover rubber on belting that is too thick or heavy for a
customer. |

CBS begins building
endless, 96" wide steel cables belting for Holland Loaders. |
| 1990's |
CBS begins servicing
the growing wood products industry setting up and maintaining belts in a
variety of plants. |
| 1991 |
CBS builds 20 ft. x
150-ft. membrane out of Goodyear's Plylon 330. This membrane was placed on
the face of on earthen damn in Kentucky to stop leaking. |
| 1994 |
CBS technicians are
brought in to train workers in a coal loading facility in Barranquilla,
Colombia. |
| 1997 |
CBS celebrates its 20th
anniversary as members of the the National Industrial Belting
Association. |
| 1998 |
CBS celebrates its 45th
anniversary as a conveyor belt distributor for The Goodyear Tire and
Rubber Company. |
